I am the owner of C.Miller's and the two ratings that had complaints aren't appointments that even happened. I even crossed checked appointments within months before and I had no customers that even fit the description they are speaking of. We guarantee all of our work and take time to sit down with all of our customers. As an owner it is hard to stop false things from being put over the internet and it is hard to get items off that are just plain slander removed from the internet. But don't take my word for it, stop by and observe us at work, most of our customers have been clients for 5 to 17 years. Feel free to contact us at 563-582-9778.

This woman ruined my very long hair! I had lunch with my friend upstairs at the Dog House and needed a trim so we went downstairs were the salons are located. The other salon was very buzy, but the Hair lounge was empty(should have known) so I figured give it a try. Big mistake! I don't know if it was intentional or what but my friend and I could not believe what she did to my hair! I was so embarrased I could hardly speak, I just paid her and left. I had to immediately go to another salon to get it fixed, it was so bad!! The girls at the other salon (who were absolutely wonderful) could not believe what she (Carrie Miller) did to my hair and said if she had any clue how to cut hair it would not have looked like that. They had to remove over 11 inches of my hair to fix the big chops she cut into the top of my hair. Please if you have any sense do not go to this place! I should have sued her for emotional abuse!! I have been sick ever since!!

This is the first review I've ever written, but I just had to let my frustration out! The owner Carrie cancelled my appointment twice before I finally got in to see her. I went to her because her ad claims she is a "makeover specialist", and I wanted a new look. Well, I unfortunately I got one! My hair cut is nothing like I asked for and she made me feel like my thoughts and ideas were stupid. I hate my hair and have an appointment at a real salon to get it fixed. The woman I spoke to told me I was not the first person who has come there looking for a fix from the Hair Lounge. I would not recommend anyone go there, the woman was on her cell phone and/or yelling at her kids the whole time I was there and made me very uncomfortable. She over-charges and does not give you what you ask for.

This salon is much different then all the others. It has a friendly home atmosphere with very knowledgable workers. The owner always has new information to share with us about our hair or our health. You feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. They also have a kids room, work-out room, tanning, hair, nails, vitamins and much...much.....more. If you need help with your hair, skin or health this salon can help you.

I have been going to C Millers for over a year now and have never had a problem! My kids play with her kids (when her kids are there which is not that often) and she has a play room which is awesome!! She charges great prices for my kids hair....you pay what age they are. And she offers specials and has helped my hair look healthier.
